MDS SEEKING SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS
The school board is looking for an interested parent to serve on the MDS Board beginning with the 2015-16 school year.
The new school year will bring with it new leadership and the development of a new 3-5 year strategic plan. Be part of this exciting work to guide the school through this important phase. Serving on the board is a great way for people to use their passions and individual strengths to make a difference for students, their families, and our community.
School boards exercise their authority at board meetings. The effective school board member should exhibit a strong commitment to working with others on the board toward the common goal of providing the best possible education for the children at MDS.
You can learn more about a board member's duties and submit an application. Should you have specific questions regarding the positions available, please contact board member and Nominations Committee Chair Danelle Gournaris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
