Community ASL Classes

Yes, our ASL classes are open to anyone in the community.

Yes, our ASL classes are structured for adults, so we ask that participants be at least 15 years of age. 

We have a fall session (Sept/Oct) and spring session (March/April).

Classes are typically held on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30pm.

Yes, the cost for each participant is $85 for the session. Sessions are 8 weeks total.

Childcare is available on Tuesdays only, $30 per child for the entire 8-week session, MDS students and siblings are free.

Scholarships are for immediate family members of current MDS students only and can waive the cost of the class and can be found in the application process.

Depending on class sizes, this is more than likely a possibility. It is important to communicate with your teacher to make appropriate arrangements if necessary. After the two-week mark, we would ask you to remain in the class you registered for.

Depends on each individual teacher, but an email will be sent out a few days before the class begins with any necessary information.
